Mediumship

   Posted by: David   in

Mediumship is the ability to communicate with spirits human or nonhuman. In my experience it is a language all its own. It requires discipline and a dedication to achieving a meditative state, a vibration that is in sync with Spirit. It requires faith to believe that what you are being shown is not somehow a figment of your imagination, and above all you must give only what you have been given. A common mistake among mediums is interjecting too much of themselves into the reading or reaching too far.

Mediumship has been a part of the human condition since the dawn of time but I don’t think it became a discipline achievable by the many not just the few until the advent of Modern Spiritualism in the nineteenth century. In this section I will examine what it takes to be a medium. I will tell stories, share the stories of others, and I will be a transparent as possible about yet another topic that is often maligned.
